How to use:
1. Make sure the skin is clean. The use of alcohol to clean the skin is not recommended to prevent dry skin, but you can use cleansers or hot water with soap. If preferable, you can do it right after taking a shower, as this will save the stress of extra cleansing before micro-needling.

2. Try it on a small skin area first. This is mostly done to test how much redness you will experience after needling. The outcome will help you in planning the frequency of the process and how much of the process your skin can take.

3. Make sure you pass over every area of the face at least once. Do not needle your eyelids and use shorter needle length under the eyes as this area is more easily bruised. Otherwise needle pretty vigorously. It can be done over your face, neck, under eye area and body areas such as hands, elbows, décolleté, etc.

4. Do not needle over active acne, open wounds or larger moles.

5. Needling stretch marks, scars, hands and elbows is very effective. You can use it on any area that is starting to wrinkle, sag, lose tone or look dull in general. Longer needles are usually used for most body areas than for the face. The more tissue/fat you have in the area of the body, the longer the needle length.

6. Once you are done, you can apply some nourishing products to your skin. The best-recommended product is a simple vitamin C serum, which is sometimes combined with the ferulic acid, vitamin E or Hyaluronic acid. All of these products should be clear of toxic chemicals, as they will penetrate directly into your bloodstream. If you are applying vitamin C or retinol products, you may feel some tingling, which is normal and will pass in a minute. You can moisturize the skin after this with jojoba, coconut, MCT or olive oil..

7. It is also recommended that you stay away from applying liquid foundation right after needling because it will also be absorbed right away. If you must wear makeup, use pressed powder, preferably the one based on minerals from a health food store.
